I think this is the crucial part of the project where we need to attract the attention of people around the globe to participate and interact to our website. A website without a single member but us is just to lonely and useless if it is not alive with people. Let share our ideas. We need advertisement and spread the word but how?

Email? Facebook? Blog? Youtube? and etc....

Hey there!

Can i just use the templates that are already in the website? Here i found one free web host here its Syntha Site, here everything is provided like the background and so, and what we just need to do is just drag the icon to the templates and do whatever we want.. Is this okay if we just use that instead of using index.html. Because i'm still a bit blur of using that.

My host: www.freewebs.com

My problem:

Freewebs has already made a page (the welcome page) which could not be deleted. I have managed to create a folder, the index_files and have also uploaded my index.html page. However, this page along with the pictures won't show on the main website. Webpage still shows the Welcome page, freewebs created. I tried creating a new page, hoping that by editing that page, I could somehow use that page as index.html. Unfortunately, there is no such feature that ...

I am wondering whether we could use the ready-made template that is provided already by the host, and all we need to do is simply add, upload and edit our information without going through the suggested "index.html" and "index_files" way.

In the FAQ, I found one part of it that is relevant to this and it seems like it only applies to people who are using Mac OS...:

Is it ok if we use the ready-made template provided by the web host

itself rather than using ...
